THE OPPORTUNITY

This role sits where influence meets infrastructure.

As Senior Manager, Sustainability, you will help shape how materials, partnerships, and external ecosystems evolve to enable a low-carbon future. Not internally alone, but across industries.

This is ecosystem strategy. Not just corporate sustainability.


THE ROLE

You will operate as a connector, strategist, and execution lead across complex sustainability initiatives.

You will:

Co-shape and drive 2 to 3 high-impact initiatives focused on decarbonizing materials.

Manage strategic partnerships with key external stakeholders.

Identify and engage emerging trends, technologies, and collaborators.

Support senior leadership, including the Chief Sustainability Officer, on high-level agendas and positioning.

Contribute to long-term system change strategies and sustainability roadmaps.

Collaborate across internal teams including materials strategy, public affairs, and communications.

Materials Decarbonization
Support the transition away from virgin fossil carbon in materials.

Ecosystem Engagement
Build and manage partnerships that unlock system-wide change.

Strategic Foresight
Scout trends and align external developments with internal strategy.

Executive Enablement
Support leadership in shaping narratives and influencing global discussions.


WHAT THEY’RE LOOKING FOR

You are part strategist, part diplomat, part builder.

You likely have:

A master’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.

Proven experience in multi-stakeholder partnerships and sustainability strategy.

Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities.

Excellent communication and storytelling skills across formats.

Strategic thinking with the ability to navigate complex market dynamics.

Negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

Confidence engaging senior stakeholders internally and externally.

Strong ownership mindset with project management capability.

Willingness to travel 40 to 60 days annually.
